Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Alterations Specialist to join our well-established business located at Singer’s Corner in Cork City Centre. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment and is easily accessible by all city bus routes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Alter garments to fit customers’ specifications.

Measure and mark areas requiring alterations.

Finish hems using interlocking machines and sewing machines.

Adjust lengths of dresses, suits, trousers, and waistbands.

Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Provide excellent customer service to our valued clientele.

 

Requirements:

Proven experience in garment alterations.

Proficiency with sewing machines and interlocking machines.

Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
